The service was perfect from the airport pick up until the last good bye at the Arusha airport. Elias is a very experienced guide for Kilimanjaro and we always felt very safe. He is very aware of the danger of high altitude sickness and was looking very precise how we feel and the first word is of course Pole Pole. We all made it to the summit. What an experience. The Serengeti trip was an unforgetable experience l with great food and a professional driver who knows the serengeti like his pocket and gave us many informations about the nature.The professional aproach of African Wilderness Experience is unlimited Safari which means you go to all the places which might me interesting to see some animals.. They don´t count the hours or the diesel.His recommendation for the hotel is Zansibar was perfect and his local agent was more like a friend than just a driver. His organisation is superb and the equipment outstanding not forgetting the quality of each meal.Verified Excellent in every way We travelled to Tanzania with a group to climb Kilimanjaro- a trip organised through African Wilderness Adventures - and then a small group of us extended our holiday with a safari and trip to Zanzibar - all organised through this company. They covered every angle, even helping me out when I’d booked very large suitcases on a tiny plane that wouldn’t take our luggage! they arranged separate delivery of our suitcases to our hotel. Nothing was too hard or too much trouble for them. The initial trip climbing Kilimanjaro was fantastic and we felt in very safe hands , the equipment we hired from them excellent too. Their hotel recommendations were good - some hotels were absolutely amazing. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough.Verified Kilimanjaro trekking with Elias Lyimo and a 4 day game drive In 8 days we, a group of six friends, climbed Mt Kilimanjaro along the Lemosho route, led by Elias Lyimo and his great team. It was a wonderful experience to reach the Uhuru peak at 5895m. We felt safe in the experienced hands of Elias.After the trekking we did a 4 day game drive, also very well organized by African Wilderness Adventures, to Tarangire NP, Serengeti and Ngorongoro.Verified We had a wonderful and succesful trip to the top (5895 m) of the Kilimanjaro It was a fantastic experience with the whole crew of African Wilderness Adventures to the top of the Kilimanjaro. We choose the Lemosho route in 8 days. It was a good advice of AWA to make the walking journey in 8 days. So the risk of Altitude decease was minimal. We all made it! After that a wunderful safari at Serengeti. Very experienced and a lot of useful knowledge was brought to us. We saw a lot of animals.Verified Kilimanjaro to Ngorongoro Crater 5 Day Cycle Ride with African Wilderness Adventures: Elias Lyimo Have just completed a 5 day cycle challenge from Kilimanjaro to Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania as part of a group of 33 raising funds for the Transaid charity. This challenge was superbly managed by Henk Blanckenberg of Classic Tours and assisted by Elias and his team from African Wilderness Adventures (Arusha) who provided superb back up services in the provision of guiding, food, bike maintenance and general knowledge on the area, etc. As well as providing encouragement to keep everyone going on a very tough route throughout the 5 days! Would highly recommend Elias and his team to anyone planning a similar adventure!Verified Trek to Kilimanjaro and stay at the Impala Hotel Arusha Tanzania Just completed the most gruelling trek so far to the top of Kilimanjaro. Should you wish to complete this trek get in touch with Elias of African Wilderness Adventures. I can not recommend him and his team enough. To enable a team of six of us Elias had a team of twenty five Guides, Porters, and Cooks. They were so caring and professional and took every care to help us reach our goal in a safe and responsible manner. And I am pleased to say that we all made it to the summit and safely returned.Elias also booked us into the Impala Hotel in Arusha. It is clean and very comfortable. The staff are also very helpful and supportive. Elias is a true professional who along with his dedicated and experienced team, led our group safely to the top of Kilimanjaro and down again, attending to look after every aspect of our 10 day trip until we were safely back on the plane home.
