Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to the hotel in Arusha overnight. Settle into your accommodation, ready to start your safari proper in the morning.
Morning and afternoon game drives in Tarangire with early departure looking for active predators and other wildlife. This park has the largest concentration of elephants (often seen bathing in the Tarangire river), lots of giraffes, monkeys, impalas and many birds. It is also one of the best places to see big prides of lions and leopards All meals and overnight will be at the lodge.
After breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara national park for game drive with picnic lunch. In this small but very beautiful park with dense forest you will have opportunity to see lots of monkeys, giraffes, elephants, impalas, dik dik, flamingos in the lake and if you are lucky you may spot the rare tree climbing lions. In the afternoon you will continue to Ngorongoro crater lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast you will drive to the Ngorongoro crater for a game drive with picnic lunch. This is the best place to see the endangered black rhino (less than 1000 black rhinos are left in the wild in the world). The crater has also many other animals like zebras, wildebeests, hippos, gazelles, hyenas and many more. In the afternoon you will continue to Gibb’s farm lodge for dinner and overnight.
Rise up early for a morning game drive along the Mara River. It is truly an amazing experience to see all those hoofed mammals in search of water and greener pastures, followed by iconic predators. A journey full of danger where only the strongest survive. You may also see hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, warthogs and if you are lucky the endangered black rhino. After the afternoon game drive, you head back to Serengeti Heritage Mara River Camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast you will drive 30 minutes to Lake Manyara airstrip for your flight to Serengeti national park. Upon your drive to Serengeti you will do game rive en route Lemala Kuria hills for lunch. In the afternoon you will depart for game drive along the Mara river. In this area you will have high chances to see the great migration (estimated to reach 3,000,000 animals now) crossing the Mara river while the crocodiles in the river try to attack them. All meals and overnight will be at Kuria hills lodge.
